I just spent four days in Wisconsin celebrating my wedding anniversary with my husband. š It was nice, but I didn’t manage to get much work done on my manuscript. š¦
I’m at a halt. I need to find beta readers, but I want to go through my book one last time. Grr! Not getting it done. Damn.
My birthday is also coming up and I’m wondering what to get my twin sister.Ā I don’t know what to ask for for me, let alone what to get her. I found some delicious wine in Wisconsin–I know, not where you would expect it to be, but hey California took away the cows, so how else is Wisconsin to make a living now?–but that won’t be enough for her. Hmmm. Anyone have any suggestions for a girl that seems to have everything?
I know what I would love…time alone at a writers retreat to finish this book and get helpful insight into making it “perfect.” Okay, wishful thinking, I know. That would still have to be the greatest birthday gift ever!
